Embarking on the journey of creating a brand involves more than just having a great idea; it requires careful planning, strategic execution, and a deep understanding of your target audience. How can founders navigate the process from ideation to execution?

In their voyage to bring their product to market, brand owners Bridget Greaney and Nancy Becker gained an understanding of product development, leveraged co-packers, and specified their target customers. When developing your product, packaging and messaging are crucial in bringing your brand to life. Focus on creating products that address a specific need or solve a problem for your target market. As a small business, partnering with a co-packer can streamline production, giving you specialized manufacturing capabilities. It’s also essential to connect with your target audience. Bridget and Nancy recommend conducting market research by visiting various venues and offering products to pinpoint your ideal customer. By following these steps and staying true to your brand’s vision and values, you can create a brand that resonates with your target audience and stands the test of time.

Thank you so much for being here and nice to meet you Bridget. You were not in Boston. I met your mom there were I we had a really nice chat. And I just wanted to just introduce you and maybe have you tell the story because you have started the business like how did you start?

Bridget Greaney 3:02

Yeah, thanks for having us. We’re really excited to be here and nice to meet you as well. Basically what you said I was making, you know healthy snacks or myself out of a need for those snacks during college I was between class and work and school and at that time was eating like protein bars or meal replacement bars between those activities thinking it was a healthy choice when in reality the nutrition was probably more similar to a Snickers bar. And I kept finding myself either wanting to keep snacking or feeling like an energy crashed, wanting to take a nap and then looking at like I said what I was eating it really was the ingredients and the nutrition profile. So I went to my own kitchen and just took ingredients that I had that you can see behind me like almonds, walnuts, pumpkin seeds, maple syrup and honey. mixed it together and baked in and out of the oven came something that was really delicious and really satiating.
